About the platform
PublicGraph Ireland
A public-interest reference layer for Irish public records. Every record links back to its official source. Nothing is inferred. Nothing is generated.
What this is
PublicGraph Ireland is a search and reference platform that brings together Irish public records — politicians, Oireachtas votes, public procurement contracts, suppliers and contracting authorities — into a single browsable view, with provenance attached to every field.
What data it includes
- Members of the Houses of the Oireachtas (Dáil and Seanad)
- Recorded divisions (votes) and per-member vote casts
- Public procurement contract awards published as open data
- Suppliers and contracting authorities derived from contract records
What this is not
- Not a wrongdoing register. Inclusion implies nothing.
- Not a political-influence index. We do not score, rank or interpret.
- Not investigative journalism. We publish only what sources publish.
- Not exhaustive. Data is limited to what official sources release.
How provenance works
Every record carries the source URL, retrieval timestamp, snapshot ID and SHA-256 checksum of the raw payload it was derived from. Open the Data provenance panel on any profile or contract page to see the exact source for that record.
Where a source field is blank, it is shown as blank — never substituted, never estimated.
Who it is for
- Journalists checking public-record context quickly
- Researchers and policy analysts
- Civic-tech and open-data communities
- Citizens who want to look something up directly at the source
Disclaimer
All information is derived from public records published by Irish government bodies under their respective open-data licences. Inclusion of a person, supplier or authority on this site does not imply wrongdoing, conflict of interest, or any adverse finding. Voting records are presented as published by the Oireachtas; we do not characterise motivation. Where you believe a source record is inaccurate, the correction must be made at the source.
